This is a very cheap snowboard…in both price and quality. The price was incredibly low, but it wouldn’t slide in the snow and the straps kept coming undone. We returned it after trying after a couple frustrating hours.

You have to have an adult carefully reset the straps after every ride. Don’t buy this unless you have a lot of patience!

My new System Nectar snowboard package just arrived and it looks awesome. It is soooo much lighter then my old kit. The boots are really comfy and fit easily into the bindings. I still can not believe how little I paid. My last board alone (Arbor) was over 0.00 and was not finished as well as this and was almost twice the weight. Now all I need is some snow!!!

I think the above reviewer may have had too-high expectations for the Space Scooter. We’ve been using it in the backyard since Christmas, and my kids LOVE it. My wife and I can even use it, and it’s possible to carve real turns with the Space Scooter. SO, if you’re looking for something to take to Lake Tahoe, buy something better. But for fun on the neighborhood sledding hill, this thing rules.

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it.

It is a great product although somewhat expensive for what you get. My big complaint was the packaging. This item was shipped in a box many times bigger than the actual item. There was no inner packing, just the product only inside the carton. The item rattled around in the box and was scratched up a bit. I’m surprised it got to us in one piece. Amazon had a section where one could actually comment on the packaging. I did render a comment but nver got a reply.

I needed a wall rack that would allow me to hang my snowboard horizontally, which is why I bought this one. It’s easy to install with only one screw at the top of each hanger (two per snowboard) and does hang my snowboard horizontally. However, .99 is WAY expensive for the quality of this product. It’s made of flimsy plastic and thus I doubt that it will stand up to regular use (removing/putting back snowboard). And don’t even think about leaving your boots on the board when you hang it….

I’ll be on the lookout for a sturdier version (like the rubbermaid hooks that are metal with foam covers that usually sell for or less!!

Standard Snowboard Vertical Mount Reviews

I took a gamble purchasing this product. I looked all over the net for a solid review and photos but found only the ones on amazon. The other wall mounts seemed complicated (spring and resistance mechanisms). This one was simple: two pegs that hold the board up on its widened end. Approximately 10 and 3/4 inches. If your board never gets wider than this, then it will not be wide enough to be held between the two pegs. If the board is never more narrow than this, then it will not fit between the pegs. I bought two of these mounts, one for my board and my fiancee’s board. Both fit very well and are very stable. Her board is held at a lower point (near the top of the board) than mine (near the center). The package was delivered in timely manner from the retailer and comes with two screws and drywall mounting supports for the screws. See my photo for two mounts side by side.

This is a very simple design that works well. Boards go in and out of the rack easily. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s a single board system. We have a ski house and I have several rack systems and this is one of the best.
